The osmangazi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Szymon Gniewek should have stopped the shot. Hüseyin Cahit İlter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Berk Acun, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Harun Canaydin might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hüseyin Cahit İlter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harun Canaydin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute Orkun İlke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Cahit İlter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Utkan Oğuzata was the one to do the kick off. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ANADOLU GENÇLİĞİ fully deserved thier win.
