The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Kılıçhan Akansel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Galatasaray's Ümit Baysoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray from getting a goal against them. When Fuat Oğuzkan fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray's protests and gave Fuat Oğuzkan a yellow card for diving instead. Fuat Oğuzkan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Edip Alansoy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ümit Baysoy. Galatasaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edip Alansoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 27 minutes, Edip Alansoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AlkolikoBilbao and the Galatasaray players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AlkolikoBilbao getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Edip Alansoy hit a great ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Edip Alansoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AlkolikoBilbao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edip Alansoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berat Belen made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Uluç Nebi however managed to control. Akşemseddin Şafakgün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömür Yasık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uluç Nebi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ümit Baysoy having to interfere. Edip Alansoy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 44th playminute. If Edip Alansoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kılıçhan Akansel made a kick off. After a rather tough play, AlkolikoBilbao's Guto Senna got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ümit Baysoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palmiro Bulhosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, AlkolikoBilbao's Akşemseddin Şafakgün got control of the ball when Kılıçhan Akansel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aydın Kural kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Fuat Oğuzkan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the AlkolikoBilbao defense, Yusuf Ziya Taş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akşemseddin Şafakgün. The AlkolikoBilbao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akşemseddin Şafakgün should have stopped the shot. Hüseyin Camcı hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Edip Alansoy took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ümit Baysoy. Ümit Baysoy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. AlkolikoBilbao's Akşemseddin Şafakgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fuat Oğuzkan in the 88th minute of play. AlkolikoBilbao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Rahman Batıkan scored to the left of an out of position Akşemseddin Şafakgün, making the score, 3-3. AlkolikoBilbao succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Galatasaray had controlled the match.
