Sabit Uğurhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Sancarbey Olcaytug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Olur's goal looked a bit too open when Sabit Uğurhan came free, but Sancarbey Olcaytug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bor's Artun Andaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necip Fazıl Demiroğlu in the 9th minute of play. Artun Andaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedrettin Adıbelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Necip Fazıl Demiroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th match minute, Bor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rıfat Muhlis to maneuver through the defense. If Necip Fazıl Demiroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bor getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rıfat Muhlis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedrettin Adıbelli in the 23rd minute of play forced Bor's goalkeeper Artun Andaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Olur's Necip Fazıl Demiroğlu tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Artun Andaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedrettin Adıbelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a little luck, Bor's Artun Andaç got control of the ball when Kurtuluş Sorgun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kurtuluş Sorgun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artun Andaç having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 50th match minute, Bor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avni İdilkurt to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Mümin Vafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurtuluş Sorgun struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Artun Andaç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olur. Olur were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
