In the 11th minute Atıf Servet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fahri Doğanay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Polatli's Savaş Özakıncı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şensoy Tecer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 minutes of play, Polatli's Arif Bilge Ülken made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şensoy Tecer was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Savaş Özakıncı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Cumhur Tengiz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Beşiktaş's Efekan Akağan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Bilge Ülken in the 31st minute of play forced Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Şensoy Tecer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Polatli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Bilge Ülken to maneuver through the defense. Şensoy Tecer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Bilge Ülken in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anıl Arda İğdemir during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Beşiktaş's Anıl Arda İğdemir got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Savaş Özakıncı came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Polatli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savaş Özakıncı couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Polatli booed when Beşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayri Tamerk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şensoy Tecer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Bilge Ülken's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atıf Servet to strike the kick off in the second half. Zekeriya Uskan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fahri Doğanay having to make a save. Behiç Sadik charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Behiç Sadik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, one of Beşiktaş:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Beşiktaş. The referee gave Polatli a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Akgün Demircioğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Beşiktaş's Şensoy Tecer. 2-3. Beşiktaş's Şensoy Tecer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Bilge Ülken in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Şener Makbul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beşiktaş's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polatli the free kick. Şener Makbul kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Hayri Tamerk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şensoy Tecer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Bilge Ülken in the 96th minute of play. Şensoy Tecer made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Savaş Özakıncı sent off a good shot on target. The Beşiktaş fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Polatli were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
