The osmangazi fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when osmangazi's Harun Canaydin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orkun İlke in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Deniz Yağızkurt saved AC MILAN from getting behind. After some careless play in the AC MILAN defense, Harun Canaydin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Deniz Yağızkurt. The AC MILAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Deniz Yağızkurt should have stopped the shot. After having played for 25 minutes, Anıl Berk Acun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. osmangazi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anıl Berk Acun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to osmangazi getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ahmet Danış Samih hit a great ball. Szymon Gniewek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çetin Hazer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orkun İlke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deniz Yağızkurt having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Orkun İlke managed to get in a good position for a shot. osmangazi's supporters rose to their feet, but Orkun İlke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deniz Yağızkurt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, osmangazi's Deniz Yağızkurt threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orkun İlke, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Harun Canaydin struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Deniz Yağızkurt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for osmangazi. Deniz Yağızkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orkun İlke in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Anıl Demirer in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Szymon Gniewek saved osmangazi from getting behind. Hayri Yunus charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hayri Yunus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orkun İlke to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harun Canaydin in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Deniz Yağızkurt saved AC MILAN from getting behind. In the 56th minute Orkun İlke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deniz Yağızkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szymon Gniewek came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by AC MILAN's Çetin Hazer. But to his dismay, Çetin Hazer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Orkun İlke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gürel Tayfur's late challenge caught a osmangazi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gürel Tayfur helped the player get up and apologised. Gürel Tayfur kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Harun Canaydin kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Çetin Hazer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Szymon Gniewek made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in AC MILAN's zone, Harun Canaydin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deniz Yağızkurt came out of the goal and Harun Canaydin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deniz Yağızkurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harun Canaydin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürel Tayfur in the 89th minute of play forced osmangazi's goalkeeper Szymon Gniewek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Anıl Berk Acun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute Harun Canaydin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deniz Yağızkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
