After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Hristivoj Stoichkov made the kick off in the second half. Sinan Tuluk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ekvator Ginesi booed when Piraziz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sungur Akboğa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes Piraziz got a freekick which was hit by Atacan Hızarcı. Hayri Abide came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target.
