In the 13th minute Abay Özveri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emir Çile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Ekvator Ginesi's Hristivoj Stoichkov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Ziya Işın. Ahmet Ziya Işın yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Ahmet Ziya Işın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ufuk Tulunay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Doğaner Gençoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the BaskentBirLigi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğaner Gençoğlu couldn't finish the play. Abay Özveri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in BaskentBirLigi's zone, Hristivoj Stoichkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Ziya Işın came out of the goal and Hristivoj Stoichkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ekvator Ginesi getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mustafa Bozer hit a great ball. Doğaner Gençoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emir Çile read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Doğaner Gençoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BaskentBirLigi and the Ekvator Ginesi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BaskentBirLigi's Doğaner Gençoğlu got a free kick in the 41st minute. Emir Çile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abay Özveri, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Doğaner Gençoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emir Çile. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doğaner Gençoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Abay Özveri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doğaner Gençoğlu made a kick off. Abay Özveri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emir Çile came out and tried to block the shot, but Abay Özveri slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 54th minute. Abay Özveri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emir Çile having to interfere. Emir Çile was a little too slow when Doğaner Gençoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğaner Gençoğlu in the 65th minute of play forced Ekvator Ginesi's goalkeeper Emir Çile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, BaskentBirLigi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erenay Kadem to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Doğuş Ekici was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekvator Ginesi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BaskentBirLigi the free kick. A collision led to Ekvator Ginesi getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Doğuş Ekici hit a great ball. Doğuş Ekici got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Ekvator Ginesi's Doğuş Ekici got a free kick in the 74th minute. After recieving a nice pass, BaskentBirLigi's Doğaner Gençoğlu tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Emir Çile was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Doğaner Gençoğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 77 minute of play. Emir Çile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğaner Gençoğlu in the 83rd minute of play. BaskentBirLigi's Doğaner Gençoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doğaner Gençoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Emir Çile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ekvator Ginesi's zone, Abay Özveri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emir Çile came out of the goal and Abay Özveri tried to chip the ball over his head. They were angered to see Ekvator Ginesi lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
