Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tolga Hazret took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gökcan Sefa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolga Hazret, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute Tolga Hazret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökcan Sefa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Tolga Hazret managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cihangir's supporters rose to their feet, but Tolga Hazret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökcan Sefa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hurşit Baran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute Hurşit Baran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğuş İlbeyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cihangir Çimen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Doğuş İlbeyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Sakaryaspor's Hurşit Baran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doğuş İlbeyi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 25th minute, Okan Özpinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cihangir's Tolga Hazret got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Cihangir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolga Hazret to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Günalp Adem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Dursun Ali Akbuğ suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İskender Baki Özver during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Abdi Asalet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Sakaryaspor got a freekick which was hit by Hayrullah Türegün. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serter Savgat during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, one of Sakaryaspor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sakaryaspor. Sakaryaspor:s Gökcan Sefa showed great skill when he stopped Serkan Hekim:s penalty.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hurşit Baran to strike the kick off in the second half. Abdi Asalet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doğuş İlbeyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hurşit Baran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cihangir booed when Sakaryaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hurşit Baran didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Abdi Asalet came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cihangir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdi Asalet couldn't finish the play. İskender Baki Özver hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 81 minutes in the game, Hurşit Baran dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Hurşit Baran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakaryaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hurşit Baran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tolga Hazret's late challenge caught a Sakaryaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolga Hazret helped the player get up and apologised. Tolga Hazret hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Tolga Hazret got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hayrullah Türegün's late challenge caught a Cihangir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayrullah Türegün helped the player get up and apologised. Hayrullah Türegün kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Abdi Asalet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cihangir's goalkeeper Doğuş İlbeyi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Cihangir supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sakaryaspor's performance. The match ended with a win for Sakaryaspor.
