The Cihangir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doğuş İlbeyi should have stopped the shot. KaraKartal's Bedir Taib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günalp Adem in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Günalp Adem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedir Taib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 48 minutes, Serkan Hekim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cihangir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serkan Hekim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oğuzcan Ayaz was the one to do the kick off. Abdi Asalet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Bedir Taib made a huge save. Bedir Taib was a little too slow when Tolga Hazret got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 58th minute, Oğuzcan Ayaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doğuş İlbeyi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Bedir Taib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdi Asalet in the 69th minute. Erdal Yunus charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erdal Yunus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bedir Taib was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dursun Ali Akbuğ showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 73 minute of play. With a little luck, KaraKartal's Bedir Taib got control of the ball when Abdi Asalet tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 played minutes Cihangir got a freekick which was hit by Serkan Hekim. 89 minutes into the match, KaraKartal's goal looked a bit too open when Günalp Adem came free, but Bedir Taib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doğuş İlbeyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Dursun Ali Akbuğ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cihangir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KaraKartal the free kick. After 97 played minutes Cihangir got a freekick which was hit by Dursun Ali Akbuğ. Doğuş İlbeyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aybar Korgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Cihangir were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
