After 8 minutes of play, SEKİ FK's Tansu Taymaz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doğuş İlbeyi was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Vacid Balatürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Günalp Adem fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolga Hazret in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İshak Şensoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vacid Balatürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Doğuş İlbeyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24thth minute of the game Vacid Balatürk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cihangir's Doğuş İlbeyi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 25 minutes of play, SEKİ FK's Vacid Balatürk made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 32nd minute Vacid Balatürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğuş İlbeyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Ionică Maruță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Vacid Balatürk made a precise shot to the right of Doğuş İlbeyi. Cihangir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Rıdvan Bozer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vacid Balatürk in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doğuş İlbeyi saved Cihangir from getting behind. If Vacid Balatürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tolga Hazret made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cihangir's goalkeeper Doğuş İlbeyi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Doğuş İlbeyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vacid Balatürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Vacid Balatürk struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Doğuş İlbeyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SEKİ FK. SEKİ FK made a substitution. Ion Iliescu replaced Sadettin Öksüz. When Tolga Hazret fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cihangir's protests and gave Tolga Hazret a yellow card for diving instead. The throw-in from Serkan Hekim in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SEKİ FK's Raul Fertus. Vacid Balatürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vacid Balatürk took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doğuş İlbeyi. Doğuş İlbeyi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Vacid Balatürk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Doğuş İlbeyi. That made the score 0-6 in the 92 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded SEKİ FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cihangir.
