Ceyhun Eskioğlu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Tahsin Turalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barbaros Aynacı having to interfere. Barbaros Aynacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahsin Turalp in the 18th minute of play. Kemalpasa's Barbaros Aynacı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Kemalpasa from getting a goal against them. With 22 minutes on the clock, Polat Özok commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 22nd minute, one of Galatasaray:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Galatasaray. The referee gave Kemalpasa a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by İlyas Tolga Taci, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Galatasaray's Davut Şerafeddin. 1-1. Tahsin Turalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Ceyhun Eskioğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kemalpasa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Aykan İnanır kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Andaç Yalazalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davut Şerafeddin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galatasaray's Olgun Yastıkcığlu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pekin Rikap in the 46 minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tahsin Turalp to strike the kick off in the second half. When Salih Miran fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray's protests and gave Salih Miran a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Salih Miran. Davut Şerafeddin made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Emirhan Köklem sent off a good shot on target. If Olgun Yastıkcığlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barbaros Aynacı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tahsin Turalp went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 74 minutes, Tahsin Turalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tahsin Turalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tahsin Turalp in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barbaros Aynacı saved Kemalpasa from getting behind. Ceyhun Eskioğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceyhun Eskioğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gökçen Kutlug kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Andaç Yalazalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davut Şerafeddin having to interfere. Galatasaray walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
