Yiğitcan Yafes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Denizli Horozu FK's goal looked a bit too open when Batıhan Temizsan came free, but Güray Uğuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sofarist SK booed when Denizli Horozu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahtiyar Gürtuna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Güray Paksan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sofarist SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Güray Paksan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güray Uğuz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Sofarist SK defense, Oğuzalp Ersalmış kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferit Çubuk. The Sofarist SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferit Çubuk should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Denizli Horozu FK's Güray Uğuz got control of the ball when Arif Burak Dicle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arif Burak Dicle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Güray Uğuz made a huge save. Süreyya Utkan took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Güray Uğuz. Güray Uğuz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of Sofarist SK booed when Denizli Horozu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Sedat Tükelay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güray Uğuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batıhan Temizsan in the 46th minute of play. The referee gave Sofarist SK a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rauf Akartürk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Denizli Horozu FK's Güray Uğuz. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oğuzalp Ersalmış stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Sedat Tükelay was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Batıhan Temizsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güray Uğuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Burak Dicle in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Kunter Turatekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Güray Paksan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güray Uğuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fethi Temizer's late challenge caught a Sofarist SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fethi Temizer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Denizli Horozu FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fethi Temizer to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match Rauf Akartürk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Güray Uğuz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Denizli Horozu FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güray Uğuz should have stopped the shot. Batıhan Temizsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Sofarist SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
