Özalp Başkara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evren Ezgü, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 21 played minutes Daricaspor got a freekick which was hit by Emirhan Akçakan. Hakan Ayçetin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes B.DORTMUNT got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Gauche. Ayhan Neyzen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldinho Gauche's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Hıdır Tunçbay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. B.DORTMUNT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Daricaspor the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hami Satuk got free with Ayhan Neyzen in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Hakan Ayçetin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldinho Gauche to strike the kick off in the second half. B.DORTMUNT were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Daricaspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hami Satuk took the corner. 0-2 became the score in the 75th minute when Evren Ezgü elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Daricaspor's Duran Yeler got a free kick in the 81st minute. 88 minutes into the game, Evren Ezgü recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Özalp Başkara. Evren Ezgü showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Özalp Başkara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emirhan Akçakan in the 91st minute of play. Ayhan Neyzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hami Satuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Daricaspor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than B.DORTMUNT.
