Peyami Akçakoca charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peyami Akçakoca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Peyami Akçakoca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayrettin Tekrim in the 13th minute of play forced Gelendost's goalkeeper Nuratay Sungurtekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stasio Bartoszek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Cemalettin Özerkmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manisa United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cemalettin Özerkmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Asım Yurdaer hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 44 minutes, Sertaç Demiroğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. Nuratay Sungurtekin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cemalettin Özerkmen to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cemalettin Özerkmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Cemalettin Özerkmen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nuratay Sungurtekin. The goal made the score 0-5. Manisa United's Stasio Bartoszek got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cemalettin Özerkmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Cemalettin Özerkmen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nuratay Sungurtekin. That made the score 0-6 in the 85 minute of play. Stasio Bartoszek did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Nuratay Sungurtekin 94 minutes into the match. Manisa United played a much better game than Gelendost and deserved their victory. The Gelendost players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
