Kuzey Sarıoğlu started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Abd al-Asis Fergani sped through Feriköy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melih Tansan. Kuzey Sarıoğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nuratay Sungurtekin came out and tried to block the shot, but Kuzey Sarıoğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 8th minute. Melih Tansan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheb Hindi in the 12th minute of the match. Melih Tansan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asım Yurdaer in the 17th minute of play. Melih Tansan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bora Han Usbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Melih Tansan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abd al-Asis Fergani went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Feriköy's goal looked a bit too open when Abd al-Asis Fergani came free, but Melih Tansan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Feriköy got a freekick which was hit by Bedirhan Salikbey. Melih Tansan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abd al-Asis Fergani, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 37th minute, Bedirhan Salikbey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Cheb Hindi notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Feriköy's Melih Tansan. Melih Tansan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 played minutes Gelendost got a freekick which was hit by Aziz Çeliksu. Kuzey Sarıoğlu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nuratay Sungurtekin. Gelendost's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Feriköy's Melih Tansan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheb Hindi in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abd al-Asis Fergani to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sertaç Demiroğlu in the 57th minute of play forced Feriköy's goalkeeper Melih Tansan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Feriköy's Bedirhan Salikbey seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bedirhan Salikbey the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Feriköy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bedirhan Salikbey had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Feriköy's Bedirhan Salikbey got a free kick in the 60th minute. Melih Tansan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abd al-Asis Fergani in the 62nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sertaç Demiroğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melih Tansan. That made the score 1-4 in the 66 minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Cheb Hindi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melih Tansan. Feriköy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cheb Hindi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Ahmet İlke Öksüz struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nuratay Sungurtekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feriköy. Melih Tansan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sertaç Demiroğlu in the 77th minute of play. Abd al-Asis Fergani might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melih Tansan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abd al-Asis Fergani ran back to his position shaking his head. Melih Tansan made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Asım Yurdaer sent off a good shot on target. Melih Tansan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abd al-Asis Fergani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asım Yurdaer scored 1-7 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melih Tansan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cheb Hindi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Melih Tansan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melih Tansan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abd al-Asis Fergani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelendost's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
