Batu Cem Sadiray charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Batu Cem Sadiray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 24 minutes into the match, Tatvanspor's goalkeeper Vatan Sidam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Özal Adalıoğlu. If Birdal Huzur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melih Cevdet Onultan struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Bilal Peykan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tatvanspor. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melih Cevdet Onultan to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aytekin Kaçkar during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bilal Peykan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Tatvanspor failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
