The crowd rose to their feet as Arif Buğra Tanbolat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aşkın Babayiğit. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derviş Küdüs during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Balamir İğdemir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Şimşektürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Arif Buğra Tanbolat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Feyzullay Seccac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in BB Erzurumspor's zone, Başar Serdengeçti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balamir İğdemir came out of the goal and Başar Serdengeçti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BB Erzurumspor's Balamir İğdemir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burhan Hüdayioğlu in the 27th minute of play. Feyzullay Seccac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adil Kadri's late challenge caught a BB Erzurumspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adil Kadri helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Kocaali JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BB Erzurumspor:s goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arif Buğra Tanbolat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Feyzullay Seccac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşkın Babayiğit having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Kocaali JK's goal looked a bit too open when Feyzullay Seccac came free, but Aşkın Babayiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hüsmen Şanlı fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kocaali JK's protests and gave Hüsmen Şanlı a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kocaali JK's Hüsmen Şanlı got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Feyzullay Seccac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes of play Kocaali JK's Hüsmen Şanlı was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 68th minute, Hüsmen Şanlı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arif Buğra Tanbolat took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aşkın Babayiğit. Aşkın Babayiğit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, BB Erzurumspor's Balamir İğdemir got control of the ball when Burhan Hüdayioğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Burhan Hüdayioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kocaali JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burhan Hüdayioğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
