An unexpectedly hard shot by Şimşek Tolun in the 6th minute of play forced Dursunbey's goalkeeper İbrahim Ethem Salur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Turan İzzet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. İbrahim Ethem Salur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
