HOCCAAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kartal Baykara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kartal Baykara to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Afşar Okatay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Nurtekin Olcaytug had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şükrü Samil. HOCCAAN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nurtekin Olcaytug was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
