Tymoteusz Zbytniewski in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kudret Özcam, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yeniköy were furious when Serter Yordam was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yeniköy! Yeniköy:s Kudret Özcam showed great skill when he stopped Hazım Rahmi:s penalty. Kudret Özcam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şaban Dervişoğlu in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Tymoteusz Zbytniewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. EreğliSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Tymoteusz Zbytniewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kudret Özcam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kudret Özcam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şaban Dervişoğlu's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 21 minutes, Rıfkı İmam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EreğliSpor and the Yeniköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rıfkı İmam kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes, Yeniköy's Ergin Tandan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Özgün Baliç came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yeniköy reached it. Özgün Baliç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necmi Canel in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Necmi Canel notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of EreğliSpor's Özgün Baliç. Özgün Baliç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. EreğliSpor's Rıfkı İmam got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Rıfkı İmam off the ground. A collision led to EreğliSpor getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rıfkı İmam hit a great ball. After 34 minutes, Reşit Ulukut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yeniköy and the EreğliSpor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reşit Ulukut hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Necmi Canel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Özgün Baliç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erim Mengübay kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Yeniköy getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Erim Mengübay hit a great ball. Yetkiner Coşan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tymoteusz Zbytniewski made a kick off. With a little luck, EreğliSpor's Özgün Baliç got control of the ball when Necmi Canel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tymoteusz Zbytniewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. EreğliSpor's Özgün Baliç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save EreğliSpor from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Yeniköy's goal looked a bit too open when Tymoteusz Zbytniewski came free, but Kudret Özcam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gürol Nezir kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Yetkiner Coşan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Kudret Özcam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, EreğliSpor's Tymoteusz Zbytniewski made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kudret Özcam was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Yetkiner Coşan fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EreğliSpor's protests and gave Yetkiner Coşan a yellow card for diving instead. Yetkiner Coşan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Necmi Canel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Necmi Canel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Tymoteusz Zbytniewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kudret Özcam was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Tymoteusz Zbytniewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Yeniköy getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Reşit Ulukut hit a great ball. Tymoteusz Zbytniewski struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Kudret Özcam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EreğliSpor. When Erim Mengübay fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yeniköy's protests and gave Erim Mengübay a yellow card for diving instead. Erim Mengübay hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Necmi Canel came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Özgün Baliç could save by the left post. Tymoteusz Zbytniewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Kudret Özcam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
