In the 10th match minute, Caglayan SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Oğuz Usal to maneuver through the defense. Rafettin Koray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atak Baysungur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Nadir Talayman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Atak Baysungur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the match, Daday's goalkeeper Arif Akalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mukul Kaal. 19 minutes into the match, Caglayan SK's goal looked a bit too open when Nadir Talayman came free, but Atak Baysungur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Daday's Yiğitcan Kanat got a free kick in the 20th minute. Caglayan SK's Mukul Kaal got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Yiğitcan Kanat fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Daday's protests and gave Yiğitcan Kanat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Caglayan SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Enekoitz to maneuver through the defense. Caglayan SK's Atak Baysungur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nadir Talayman in the 31st minute of play. Atak Baysungur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafettin Koray's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Daday's Nadir Talayman got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atak Baysungur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafettin Koray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Daday were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Aurre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafettin Koray kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Atak Baysungur. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. Atak Baysungur didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Caglayan SK's goalkeeper Atak Baysungur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Rafettin Koray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atak Baysungur was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nadir Talayman during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the final whistle went the supporters of Daday were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Caglayan SK side.
