Baskın Malgır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kılıçalp Akçakıl in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Tefenni getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Barlas Bayezit hit a great ball. If Barlas Bayezit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Usalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göksun Tuncal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 24 minutes, Mustafa Anıl Sebih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Düzici's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Anıl Sebih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kılıçalp Akçakıl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baskın Malgır read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Kuddusî Öztekin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Baskın Malgır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kılıçalp Akçakıl, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Barlas Bayezit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baskın Malgır having to interfere. When Kılıçalp Akçakıl came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Tefenni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kılıçalp Akçakıl couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the game, Hulki Onguner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Baskın Malgır was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Göksun Tuncal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barlas Bayezit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tefenni's Avni Kutsel was substituted for Alkın Suha. Düzici's Göksun Tuncal was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 60th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 65th minute Kılıçalp Akçakıl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baskın Malgır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tefenni defense, Kemalettin Çağa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Usalp. The Tefenni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Usalp should have stopped the shot. When Kılıçalp Akçakıl came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Tefenni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kılıçalp Akçakıl couldn't finish the play. Baskın Malgır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulki Onguner in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Hulki Onguner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baskın Malgır was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Turan Uyarel hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute of the match Barlas Bayezit shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baskın Malgır showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barlas Bayezit in the 89th minute of play forced Düzici's goalkeeper Baskın Malgır to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kılıçalp Akçakıl succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. Tefenni's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
