But to his dismay, Tarık Akbora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 18 minutes into the game, Asrın Bozkaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciftlikköy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cameli the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Ciftlikköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asrın Bozkaya to maneuver through the defense. Aykut Kainat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özalp Kemalettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Cameli's Aykut Kainat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Hakan Babacan in the 25th minute of play. If Birdal Ural had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Özalp Kemalettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykut Kainat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aykut Kainat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenk Buminhan in the 36th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

55 minutes into the match, Cenk Buminhan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aykut Kainat, 0-4. A sloppy throw-in by Ahmet Gökalp Ünalmış in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cameli's Orhan Lebib. Birdal Ural struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Erbatur Güdeş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cameli. Aykut Kainat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özalp Kemalettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cameli booed when Ciftlikköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Hakan Babacan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Birdal Ural came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Cameli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birdal Ural couldn't finish the play. Aykut Kainat made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Cenk Buminhan sent off a good shot on target. The Ciftlikköy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ciftlikköy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
