Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cavdir's Nazmi Ocakçı started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yetkin Zahir hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Nazmi Ocakçı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karadeniz Erkılıç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ekrem Atasagun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Hatay got a freekick which was hit by Ertan Mevlit. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nazmi Ocakçı during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hatay booed when Cavdir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazmi Ocakçı didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Hatay's goalkeeper Cenk Has had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Behiç Vedat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazmi Ocakçı in the 44th minute of play forced Hatay's goalkeeper Cenk Has to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afşin Ilgın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cenk Has tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karadeniz Erkılıç to strike the kick off in the second half. Yetkin Zahir succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 58th playminute. 63 minutes into the game, Gökçek Yoruç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hatay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavdir the free kick. After 63 played minutes Hatay got a freekick which was hit by Gökçek Yoruç. If Nazmi Ocakçı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karadeniz Erkılıç was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ekrem Atasagun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karadeniz Erkılıç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Cavdir got a freekick which was hit by Afşin Ilgın. Afşin Ilgın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cenk Has tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Hatay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acun Üçok to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Cavdir's Erhun Batı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cenk Has made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
