An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Ali Şirvan in the 53rd minute of play forced Cavdir's goalkeeper Ekrem Atasagun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cavdir's Abdullah Kızılateş got a free kick in the 59th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Ahmet Ali Şirvan put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ekrem Atasagun. Behiç Vedat hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Nazmi Ocakçı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volker Gartler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samir Reha kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Erhun Batı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volker Gartler having to interfere.
