The attack was good, but when Mehmet Edip Yura in the 4th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a little luck, Elbeyli SK's Volker Gartler got control of the ball when Paşa Ali Gazzali tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orta's Fahrettin Süvari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ali Şirvan in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Elbeyli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nafiz Arslan to maneuver through the defense. Elbeyli SK's Volker Gartler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Elbeyli SK from getting a goal against them. Haldun Günay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Volker Gartler having to make a save. 24 minutes into the match, Haldun Günay notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Elbeyli SK's Volker Gartler. Volker Gartler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ahmet Ali Şirvan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fahrettin Süvari having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Orta's Mehmet Emre Osmanoğulları ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Volker Gartler. Volker Gartler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haldun Günay got free with Volker Gartler in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Emre Osmanoğulları in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volker Gartler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paşa Ali Gazzali in the 44th minute of play forced Elbeyli SK's goalkeeper Volker Gartler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes, Mehmet Emre Osmanoğulları mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orta and the Elbeyli SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Orta got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Emre Osmanoğulları. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Volker Gartler came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Orta's Mehmet Emre Osmanoğulları. But to his dismay, Mehmet Emre Osmanoğulları quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haldun Günay in the 72nd minute of play forced Elbeyli SK's goalkeeper Volker Gartler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Elbeyli SK got a freekick which was hit by Gani Özgenay. Volker Gartler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haldun Günay in the 75th minute of the match. Mehmet Anıl Zafir hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haldun Günay in the 78th minute of play forced Elbeyli SK's goalkeeper Volker Gartler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Orta booed when Elbeyli SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Semdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Mehmet Emre Osmanoğulları shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volker Gartler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elbeyli SK's Volker Gartler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haldun Günay in the 87th minute of play. Orta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
