In the 26th minute, Yetkin Zahir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Karadeniz Erkılıç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kağan Hüsrev was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The Hatay fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Hatay's Karadeniz Erkılıç looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Hatay's Cenk Has proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Hatay from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Derviş Dinçay to make the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Necatibey's Kağan Hüsrev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yetkin Zahir in the 66th minute of play. Kağan Hüsrev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aygün Talat in the 69th minute. A collision led to Necatibey getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ali Kağan Genç hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Gökçek Yoruç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cenk Has showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Orhan Tutkun, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 98 played minutes Necatibey got a freekick which was hit by Rüstem Heper.
