Necatibey's Kağan Hüsrev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Necatibey from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Necatibey getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Rüstem Heper hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ali Şirvan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kağan Hüsrev. Ahmet Ali Şirvan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Volker Gartler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğukan İpek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nafiz Arslan kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Derviş Dinçay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Volker Gartler was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ahmet Ali Şirvan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Necatibey defense, Hakkı Semdin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kağan Hüsrev. The Necatibey fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kağan Hüsrev should have stopped the shot. Kağan Hüsrev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batu Eröz in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Mehmet Edip Yura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Necatibey's Kağan Hüsrev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Doğukan İpek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Necatibey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doğukan İpek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Elbeyli SK defense, Doğukan İpek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Volker Gartler. The Elbeyli SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Volker Gartler should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Elbeyli SK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gani Özgenay hit a great ball. Kağan Hüsrev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Edip Yura, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Mehmet Edip Yura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kağan Hüsrev, 3-2.

58 minutes into the match, Elbeyli SK's goalkeeper Volker Gartler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doğukan İpek. Volker Gartler was a little too slow when Rüstem Heper got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 3-3. After a rather tough play, Elbeyli SK's Halit Fahri Necaettin got a free kick in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Necatibey's Doğukan İpek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Volker Gartler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Mehmet Edip Yura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kağan Hüsrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Necatibey's Reha Hancı couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Elbeyli SK. Özgür Ogün's late challenge caught a Elbeyli SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özgür Ogün helped the player get up and apologised. Halit Fahri Necaettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kağan Hüsrev having to interfere. Kağan Hüsrev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Edip Yura, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferit Ekiner during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 100th minute, Mehmet Edip Yura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kağan Hüsrev was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4. When the referee blew the final whistle, Elbeyli SK could leave the field as winners, despite Necatibey having more of the ball for most of the match.
