Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sarp İlican started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Yaglidere SK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Derya Kuddusi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cavdir's Atilla Bumin Erzan got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Ahmet Haşim Doğangün cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ekrem Atasagun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, Cavdir's goal looked a bit too open when Haşmet Kırgız came free, but Ekrem Atasagun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Cavdir got a freekick which was hit by Behiç Vedat. In the 25th minute Haşmet Kırgız shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekrem Atasagun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Yaglidere SK defense, Erhun Batı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tanju Özgun. The Yaglidere SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tanju Özgun should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sarp İlican in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ekrem Atasagun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th match minute, Yaglidere SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanju Satı to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Nazmi Ocakçı reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tanju Özgun. The goal made the score 2-2. After 43 played minutes Yaglidere SK got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzkan Can. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Nazmi Ocakçı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavdir's supporters rose to their feet, but Nazmi Ocakçı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanju Özgun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nazmi Ocakçı was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Erhun Batı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanju Özgun was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, Nazmi Ocakçı notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Yaglidere SK's Tanju Özgun. Tanju Özgun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sarp İlican in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ekrem Atasagun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cavdir's Ekrem Atasagun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Haşim Doğangün in the 63rd minute of play. Ekrem Atasagun was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Süreyya Bilek. After a rather tough play, Cavdir's Nazmi Ocakçı got a free kick in the 68th minute. Tanju Özgun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erhun Batı went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Tanju Özgun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazmi Ocakçı in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yaglidere SK's zone, Erhun Batı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanju Özgun came out of the goal and Erhun Batı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tanju Özgun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erhun Batı in the 79th minute of the match. Erhun Batı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tanju Özgun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Haşim Doğangün charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Haşim Doğangün the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ahmet Haşim Doğangün hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Sarp İlican received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ekrem Atasagun came out and tried to block the shot, but Sarp İlican slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 93rd minute. Ahmet Haşim Doğangün was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Yaglidere SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
