The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 3 in the game by Yetkin Zahir from a close distance when the talented Alişan Sarıkaya managed to make a qualified save. Nevele FK's players were relieved. After 5 played minutes Nevele FK got a freekick which was hit by Tuncay Eryaman. In the 7th minute Hatay were awarded a corner. Ahmet Hafiz Vefi went to the cornerflag to take it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nevele FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Hatay's Ahmet Hafiz Vefi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alişan Sarıkaya. Aygün Talat hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Cenk Has showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İzzet Akyol, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Tuncay Eryaman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aktaç Ulukaan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arman İzci kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Hatay's goal looked a bit too open when İzzet Akyol came free, but Cenk Has reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yetkin Zahirs short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Alişan Sarıkaya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 43 minutes into the match, Hatay's goal looked a bit too open when Aktaç Ulukaan came free, but Cenk Has reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, İzzet Akyol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cenk Has was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İzzet Akyol to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Acun Üçok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hatay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Acun Üçok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Nevele FK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sertaç Canal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nevele FK's zone, Yetkin Zahir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alişan Sarıkaya came out of the goal and Yetkin Zahir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alişan Sarıkaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hafiz Vefi in the 60th minute of the match. Yetkin Zahir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alişan Sarıkaya having to make a save. Karadeniz Erkılıç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erhun Erkılıç kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ahmet Hafiz Vefi missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 67 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alişan Sarıkaya right hand side. Özalp Nevruz charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özalp Nevruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hatay getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Özalp Nevruz hit a great ball. İzzet Akyol struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Cenk Has didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nevele FK. The supporters of Nevele FK booed when Hatay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özalp Nevruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Aygün Talat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alişan Sarıkaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nevele FK's Alişan Sarıkaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yetkin Zahir in the 91st minute of play. Hatay were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nevele FK for a fine match.
