After 40 played minutes, Bismil SK's Lokman Pınar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hüsnü Temur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bismil SK reached it. Menderes Ergener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bismil SK's zone, Arif Nihat İlkim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menderes Ergener came out of the goal and Arif Nihat İlkim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arif Nihat İlkim to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bismil SK's goalkeeper Menderes Ergener, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Yaprakli's Selmi Oran got a free kick in the 64th minute. Hüsnü Temur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğuhan Şaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüsnü Temur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uygur Tümenbay in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Yaprakli's Selmi Oran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Menderes Ergener narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Menderes Ergener was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Hüseyin Adsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Menderes Ergener tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yaprakli's Necip Tayyip was substituted for Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz. If Necip Tayyip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüsnü Temur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fevzi Çapan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Yaprakli's Hüsnü Temur got control of the ball when Doğuhan Şaki tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Yaprakli's Necip Tayyip in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bismil SK's goalie prevented a goal.
