The supporters of Yaprakli booed when Gaziantep FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güral Akasoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akın Sarvan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cebrail Ahid during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Gaziantep FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cebrail Ahid to maneuver through the defense. Bedrettin Pamir got in the 37th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Hüsnü Temur handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Akın Sarvan kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Güral Akasoy kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Yaprakli's Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Yaprakli's Selmi Oran got a free kick in the 65th minute. Bedrettin Pamir might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hüsnü Temur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bedrettin Pamir ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Yaprakli getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz hit a great ball. Bedrettin Pamir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hüsnü Temur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Yaprakli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Nihat İlkim to maneuver through the defense. Mert Altıncığlu charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mert Altıncığlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Mert Altıncığlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necip Tayyip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yaprakli were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
