Samsunspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but 傅正卫 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Saygın Ekincioğlu came free, but Cebrail Erşahin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zafer Okyanus having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Selim Tansu during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Selim Tansu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Çelikan Eraksan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute of the match 傅正卫 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zafer Okyanus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 48th minute, Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zafer Okyanus. The goal made the score 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Selim Tansu to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zafer Okyanus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şemsettin Haseki hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Kurtulus's goal looked a bit too open when Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer came free, but Zafer Okyanus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
