Hayati Erdem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yaprakli's Suphi Akoğlu got a free kick in the 8th minute. Arif Nihat İlkim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hayati Erdem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Yaprakli's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Ceandro came free, but Hüsnü Temur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Selmi Oran put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hayati Erdem. Tansu Ermiye hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Kocamustafapaşa got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Bumin Tunçtürk. If Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kocamustafapaşa! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Kocamustafapaşa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yaprakli:s goal. After 38 minutes of play, Yaprakli's Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hayati Erdem was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the game, Tansu Ermiye was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kocamustafapaşa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaprakli the free kick. In the 40th minute, Tansu Ermiye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arif Nihat İlkim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayati Erdem having to interfere. Selmi Oran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Arif Nihat İlkim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Hayati Erdem made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz sent off a good shot on target. Cihat Olgaç charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cihat Olgaç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Cihat Olgaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Adsoy notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Kocamustafapaşa's Hayati Erdem. Hayati Erdem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Hüseyin Adsoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hayati Erdem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Nihat İlkim in the 96th minute of the match. The Kocamustafapaşa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yaprakli were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
