Kizilcahamam's Aykan Çırakoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selim Delioğlu in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özdemir Canal got free with Arif Tugay Onat in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Aktuğ Baransel came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Elazigspor FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aktuğ Baransel couldn't finish the play. Özdemir Canal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Arif Tugay Onat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gani Onsal to make the kick off. Kizilcahamam's Aykan Çırakoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Kizilcahamam from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Gani Onsal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Elazigspor FK's Arif Tugay Onat. Arif Tugay Onat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Aktuğ Baransel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aykan Çırakoğlu was relentless in the 61st minute of the game.
