In the 21st minute, Tekirdağ's Ali Güralp Enginer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Güray Urluk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayyam Tanyeri in the 25th minute of play. Kemal Alatay's late challenge caught a Yildizeli SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kemal Alatay helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Tekirdağ got a freekick which was hit by Kemal Alatay. When Kemal Alatay was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. In the 29th minute, Kemal Alatay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Güray Urluk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayyam Tanyeri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vedat Yumus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haluk Onursan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Arif Tugay Düden who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Haluk Onursan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feyzullay Kerimhan made a kick off. Feyzullay Kerimhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd match minute, Tekirdağ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Güralp Enginer to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Kandemir Cebir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Haluk Onursan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vedat Yumus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Haluk Onursan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tekirdağ had played much better football throughout.
