Alemdar Özaltay had several of the Elazigspor FK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Arif Tugay Onat as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 37 minutes, Selim Delioğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elazigspor FK and the Kızıl Elma players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Elazigspor FK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürcan İlmen in the 61st minute of play forced Elazigspor FK's goalkeeper Arif Tugay Onat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Tugay Onat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gürcan İlmen's shot from short distance in the 66th minute.
