Nemesio Gaitan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aiolos Sarandakos went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Nemesio Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esben Bæhrenz in the 23rd minute of play. Nemesio Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esben Bæhrenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to HATAY SPOR SK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Babür Ademoğlu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Azevedo in the 46th minute of play forced HATAY SPOR SK's goalkeeper Nemesio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. HATAY SPOR SK's Nemesio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Azevedo in the 47th minute of play. The HATAY SPOR SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Canersss were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sedat Çoğaş was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Canersss's Lisandro De La Torre got a free kick in the 52nd minute.
