Yenal Kiray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Eser Akdoğan made a huge save. 20 minutes into the game, Birkan Başbuğoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cilimli SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VAN-SK the free kick. Birkan Başbuğoğlu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Cilimli SK got a freekick which was hit by Yenal Kiray. Eser Akdoğan made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Birkan Başbuğoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceyhan Tanver in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Utku İpekçi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Mustafa İzzet Tuyuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VAN-SK's Batu Ronaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceyhan Tanver in the 29th minute of play forced Cilimli SK's goalkeeper Utku İpekçi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cilimli SK's goalkeeper Utku İpekçi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute Mustafa İzzet Tuyuğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eser Akdoğan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birkan Başbuğoğlu scored 2-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eser Akdoğan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After recieving a nice pass, Cilimli SK's Burhan Umural tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

64 minutes into the match, VAN-SK's goal looked a bit too open when Yenal Kiray came free, but Eser Akdoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eser Akdoğan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute Recep Talha Necid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eser Akdoğan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birkan Başbuğoğlu struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Eser Akdoğan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cilimli SK. Recep Talha Necid took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eser Akdoğan. Eser Akdoğan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Cilimli SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
