The supporters of VAN-SK booed when Arsenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Ali Altıparmak didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Batu Ronaldo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the VAN-SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batu Ronaldo couldn't finish the play. Mourad Hamrouche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Eser Akdoğan made a huge save. After 40 minutes of play, Arsenal's Eustaquio Senon made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eser Akdoğan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eser Akdoğan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eustaquio Senon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 44 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
