Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Necat Ongen kicked off to start the match. Hurşit Yatman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Zafer Hinoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zafer Hinoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hurşit Yatman, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute Necat Ongen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berk Rahim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Düzce got a freekick which was hit by Alim Koç. 22 minutes into the match, Ilıca Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Hurşit Yatman came free, but Zafer Hinoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ilıca Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Aytunç Cengaver hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Ilıca Spor Kulübü defense, Hurşit Yatman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zafer Hinoğlu. The Ilıca Spor Kulübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zafer Hinoğlu should have stopped the shot. Necat Ongen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mustafa Cangur fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Düzce's protests and gave Mustafa Cangur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Düzce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Cangur to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Düzce's zone, Necat Ongen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berk Rahim came out of the goal and Necat Ongen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Düzce's İlkan Somer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zafer Hinoğlu but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hurşit Yatman to strike the kick off in the second half. If Hurşit Yatman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceyhan Nedrets short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Berk Rahim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mansur Şanver hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Ilıca Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Habib Açıkel came free, but Zafer Hinoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Düzce's Berk Rahim got control of the ball when Ceyhan Nedret tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Düzce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alpay Peykan to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close.
