Redbull Yalıköy's Ziya Tolunay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boran Derem in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Redbull Yalıköy's zone, Boran Derem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ziya Tolunay came out of the goal and Boran Derem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anıl Baran Semdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ziya Tolunay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osmangazi's Boran Derem got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mehmet Ediz Ilıcak fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redbull Yalıköy's protests and gave Mehmet Ediz Ilıcak a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Redbull Yalıköy got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Ediz Ilıcak. If Mustafa Kemal Midilli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olivér Cseh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulbaki Çetinay in the 22nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Osmangazi defense, Mustafa Kemal Midilli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olivér Cseh. The Osmangazi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olivér Cseh should have stopped the shot. Osmangazi's Boran Derem got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Redbull Yalıköy got a freekick which was hit by Abdulbaki Çetinay. Boran Derem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ziya Tolunay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boran Derem's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The supporters of Osmangazi booed when Redbull Yalıköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulbaki Çetinay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakkı Muhtar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziya Tolunay having to interfere. Olivér Cseh came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Redbull Yalıköy's Mustafa Kemal Midilli. But to his dismay, Mustafa Kemal Midilli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boran Derem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olivér Cseh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Kemal Midilli in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Osmangazi booed when Redbull Yalıköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Oğuz Yılğıralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Ediz Ilıcak kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Redbull Yalıköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulbaki Çetinay to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Redbull Yalıköy's goalkeeper Ziya Tolunay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boran Derem. In the 74th minute Mehmet Oğuz Yılğıralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivér Cseh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Osmangazi booed when Redbull Yalıköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhammet Ersezen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olivér Cseh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Ediz Ilıcak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdulbaki Çetinay took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olivér Cseh. Olivér Cseh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Redbull Yalıköy's Mustafa Kemal Midilli got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osmangazi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
