Oliver Kahn was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Baran Rafetoğulları capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baran Rafetoğulları really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to EMEĞİN GÜCÜ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Berke Aksel hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes Kücükesat got a freekick which was hit by Baran Rafetoğulları. In the 15th minute, Baran Rafetoğulları ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Kaan Özluer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Servet Baybars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of EMEĞİN GÜCÜ booed when Kücükesat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayyar Erensoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucian Bidulescu struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Kaan Özluer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EMEĞİN GÜCÜ. Utku Ucatekin's late challenge caught a Kücükesat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Utku Ucatekin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, EMEĞİN GÜCÜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Utku Ucatekin to maneuver through the defense. Aral Mansur kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Lucian Bidulescu, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Rafetoğulları in the 41st minute of play forced EMEĞİN GÜCÜ's goalkeeper Oliver Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Servet Baybars left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EMEĞİN GÜCÜ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Utku Ucatekin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in EMEĞİN GÜCÜ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Oliver Kahn, was totally fooled by Kücükesat's Tayyar Erensoy, who 50 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Atilla Çelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Oliver Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Servet Baybars recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Servet Baybars in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kaan Özluer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hafiz Ugraş in the 63rd minute of play forced EMEĞİN GÜCÜ's goalkeeper Oliver Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gündüz Timurcan in the 64th minute of play. Servet Baybars blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaan Özluer having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Kücükesat's Ahmet Hafiz Ugraş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliver Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucian Bidulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Kaan Özluer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The EMEĞİN GÜCÜ fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when EMEĞİN GÜCÜ's Servet Baybars looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 79 minutes into the match, EMEĞİN GÜCÜ's Lucian Bidulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaan Özluer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Servet Baybars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in EMEĞİN GÜCÜ's zone, Baran Rafetoğulları stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Kahn came out of the goal and Baran Rafetoğulları tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaan Özluer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bora Han Camcı, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, EMEĞİN GÜCÜ's Servet Baybars sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaan Özluer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucian Bidulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. EMEĞİN GÜCÜ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kücükesat to leave the ground with a draw.
