The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kahraman Malik helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Cihanbeyli got a freekick which was hit by Kahraman Malik. Arif Memduh Belge took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reis Nezir. Cihanbeyli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cihanbeyli's Gökçek İsiman got a free kick in the 9th minute. Arif Memduh Belge managed to, on his own, get straight through Cihanbeyli's defense and in the 11th minute placed the ball to the left of Reis Nezir. 1-0. A collision led to Gayrettepe getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. İsmet Heybetli hit a great ball. Hurşit Ekşioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Behlül Karanalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reis Nezir. Cihanbeyli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Behlül Karanalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Akgün Guftar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gayrettepe's supporters rose to their feet, but Akgün Guftar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reis Nezir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Akgün Guftar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akgün Guftar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cihanbeyli booed when Gayrettepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mümtaz Lebib didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Cankut Göktepe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Fikret Dilşah showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Kahraman Malik was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. With a little luck, Cihanbeyli's Reis Nezir got control of the ball when Behlül Karanalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mustafa Hamit Temizkan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Reis Nezir was a little too slow when Akgün Guftar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Akgün Guftar in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reis Nezir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oğuz Torlak in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Cihanbeyli's goal looked a bit too open when Akgün Guftar came free, but Reis Nezir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mustafa Hamit Temizkan fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cihanbeyli's protests and gave Mustafa Hamit Temizkan a yellow card for diving instead.
