Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tansu Neşit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gayrettepe's Arif Memduh Belge got a free kick in the 12th minute. Gayrettepe's Ahmet Fikret Dilşah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tansu Neşit in the 13th minute of play. Ferhan Yetişbey was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Bahcekapi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Bahcekapi's Tansu Neşit slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Fikret Dilşah. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Gayrettepe defense, Ferhan Yetişbey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Fikret Dilşah. The Gayrettepe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Fikret Dilşah should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Ziya Akdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akgün Guftar in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match, Tansu Neşit tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ahmet Fikret Dilşah saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Gayrettepe getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mümtaz Lebib hit a great ball. Zekeriya Uluberk kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Tansu Neşit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bahcekapi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Tansu Neşit took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Ahmet Fikret Dilşah to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akgün Guftar made a kick off. With his leg Ahmet Ziya Akdal managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Gayrettepe's Behlül Karanalp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Gayrettepe's Ahmet Ziya Akdal threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Akgün Guftar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 56 played minutes Gayrettepe got a freekick which was hit by Raşit Elçibey. Tansu Neşit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferhan Yetişbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Ferhan Yetişbey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Fikret Dilşah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akgün Guftar took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Ziya Akdal. Ahmet Ziya Akdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Akgün Guftar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ahmet Ziya Akdal made a huge save. Bahcekapi's attack was well implemented in the 72nd minute, but when Tansu Neşit was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ahmet Ziya Akdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akgün Guftar in the 77th minute of the match. Faruk Hürmetli kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tansu Neşit, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Ferhan Yetişbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bahcekapi had won after a very even match.
