Spectators: 5020 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 20) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Servet Baybars took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Akgün Guftar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Behlül Karanalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. EMEĞİN GÜCÜ's Oliver Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akgün Guftar in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Akgün Guftar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gayrettepe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Utku Ucatekin kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Oliver Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akgün Guftar in the 17th minute of the match. Oliver Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akgün Guftar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucian Bidulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Bora Han Camcı fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 29th minute, Akgün Guftar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gayrettepe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bora Han Camcı's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Bora Han Camcı reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ahmet Fikret Dilşah. The goal made the score 2-2. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah stood somewhat misplaced when Servet Baybars came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 41 minute. In the 46th minute, Utku Ucatekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Behlül Karanalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bora Han Camcı in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Fikret Dilşah saved Gayrettepe from getting behind. 57 minutes into the game, Servet Baybars cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Servet Baybars in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Fikret Dilşah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bora Han Camcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Kahn was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Baturhan Satı. In the 76th minute, Turan Yorangil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Behlül Karanalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Kahn having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Gayrettepe got a freekick which was hit by Akgün Guftar. If Servet Baybars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Kahn made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Akgün Guftar sent off a good shot on target. EMEĞİN GÜCÜ's Servet Baybars got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servet Baybars in the 90th minute of play. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by EMEĞİN GÜCÜ's Bora Han Camcı. But to his dismay, Bora Han Camcı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Gayrettepe's Ahmet Fikret Dilşah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bora Han Camcı in the 94th minute of play. Servet Baybars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that EMEĞİN GÜCÜ were the better team. EMEĞİN GÜCÜ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
