Oğuz Torlak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Galip Oymen having to interfere. Ali Galip Oymen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Torlak, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Cihanbeyli's Güven Totuk got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Baransel Nebahattin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reis Nezir. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baransel Nebahattin got free with Reis Nezir in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Cihanbeyli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave No Token No Cry the free kick. Hurşit Ekşioğlu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match.
