Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Akgün Guftar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Rafetoğulları in the 27th minute of play forced Gayrettepe's goalkeeper Ahmet Fikret Dilşah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaan Özluer made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Zekeriya Uluberk sent off a good shot on target. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Rafetoğulları, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Kaan Özluer came out of the goal and Behlül Karanalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baran Rafetoğulları made a kick off. In the 55th minute Baran Rafetoğulları shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Fikret Dilşah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ahmet Hafiz Ugraş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Hafiz Ugraş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Fikret Dilşah having to interfere. Kaan Özluer came out of the goal and Behlül Karanalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Behlül Karanalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Kaan Özluer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Behlül Karanalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kücükesat's zone, Behlül Karanalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaan Özluer came out of the goal and Behlül Karanalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Hafiz Ugraş got free with Ahmet Fikret Dilşah in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Behlül Karanalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Baran Rafetoğulları shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Fikret Dilşah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mümtaz Lebib was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Baran Rafetoğulları took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Ahmet Fikret Dilşah to make any attempt to save it. 90 minutes into the game, Behlül Karanalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gayrettepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kücükesat the free kick. Behlül Karanalp hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Zekeriya Uluberk came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Gayrettepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zekeriya Uluberk couldn't finish the play.
