Ahmet Boran Taçkın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İldeniz Özbekkan in the 41st minute of play. KNT's Ahmet Boran Taçkın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ali Sezer in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, KNT's Ozan Uğuray got a free kick in the 46th minute. The GALATASARAY players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KNT were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İldeniz Özbekkan to make the kick off. If Eren Özkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eren Özkar got free with Songurbey Özekan in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. GALATASARAY's Songurbey Özekan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY from getting a goal against them. GALATASARAY were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing KNT to leave the ground with a draw.
