Rami JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY the free kick. After 3 played minutes Rami JK got a freekick which was hit by Saadettin Aurelio. Anıl Cenk Çağaçar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İldeniz Özbekkan went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. İlkan Başeski hit a great ball. Songurbey Özekan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güvenç Urza in the 12th minute of play. Songurbey Özekan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güvenç Urza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GALATASARAY's Songurbey Özekan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aşkın Aksungur in the 18th minute of play. Atalay Celilay hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emran Çokman got free with Anıl Cenk Çağaçar in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Songurbey Özekan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşkın Aksungur in the 30th minute of the match. Güvenç Urza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurbey Özekan having to interfere. After 35th play minutes Aşkın Aksungur shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Songurbey Özekan and just under the crossbar into goal. Güvenç Urza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurbey Özekan having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Güvenç Urza was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Güvenç Urza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Songurbey Özekan. Güvenç Urza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 55 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Songurbey Özekan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aşkın Aksungur. Kubat Ünlüer charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kubat Ünlüer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rami JK! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for GALATASARAY. Bora Han Ergenç stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anıl Cenk Çağaçar. 2-4. Anıl Cenk Çağaçar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İldeniz Özbekkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Ensar Bakırcı during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. İldeniz Özbekkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Anıl Cenk Çağaçar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Güvenç Urza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th play minute Aşkın Aksungur came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Songurbey Özekan. 2-5. Songurbey Özekan made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Aşkın Aksungur sent off a good shot on target. Songurbey Özekan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güvenç Urza in the 82nd minute of play. Aşkın Aksungur took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Songurbey Özekan. Songurbey Özekan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çağlar Öktemer in the 90th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Songurbey Özekan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rami JK's Çağlar Öktemer got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rami JK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
